APPOINTMENTS ( posted on Mar 2, 2012 )

We know that getting an appointment can sometimes be difficult which is why was are always looking at ways to improve it.  Over the coming weeks we are piloting some changes which we hope will allow you to speak to and been seen with your usual Doctor.  It is beneficial for you to try to see you usual Doctor as they will understand your history.  If you are not sure who your usual Doctor is please ask at Reception.  If your Doctor is unavailable then ask to see their "Buddy" who looks after their work during leave/sickness.

We have seen an increase in patients not attending their appointments.  This means that appointments that other patients would like are being wasted.  If you have booked an appointment and no longer require it please let us know even on the same days as we usually have someone else that can take it.  We will be introducing a texting reminder service in the near future.

The NHS have many ways to be treated.  Please pick up a "Choose Well" leaftlet from the waiting room.
